These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of JUST. for vegetables (the “App”), developed and published by Eric A. Zarko (“we”, “us”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
JUST. for vegetables is a personal food-tracking tool. You may use it for your own household and family purposes. You agree not to:
The App uses Sign in with Apple for authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Apple ID. We are not responsible for any loss resulting from unauthorized access to your account.
The App offers optional paid subscriptions (Premium Solo and Premium Family) that unlock additional features. All subscriptions are purchased and managed through Apple’s App Store. By subscribing, you also agree to Apple’s terms of service.
You retain ownership of the content you add to the App — your food items, photos, and notes. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store and sync that content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you and your family members. We do not claim any ownership over your content.
If you invite family members to a shared account, all members of that family account can view and edit the shared food data. You are responsible for who you invite. We are not responsible for actions taken by members of your family account.
The App displays approximate per-serving nutrition information for common vegetables, drawn from publicly available USDA-style references. These values are provided for general comparison and meal-planning only. They are not medical, dietary, or nutritional advice, are not personalized to you, and must not be relied on for any decision affecting health — including but not limited to allergies, intolerances, diabetes management, kidney health, pregnancy, infant feeding, or any therapeutic eating plan. Actual nutrient content varies by variety, growing conditions, storage, and preparation. If nutrient intake matters to you for any reason, consult a qualified medical or registered dietetic professional.
The App’s recipe search feature returns results from TheMealDB and other third-party recipe sources. We do not author, vet, verify, moderate, or endorse this content. We make no representations or warranties about the accuracy, completeness, safety, allergen labeling, or suitability of any recipe. Tapping a recipe opens an external website over which we have no control; your use of that site is governed by its own terms of service and privacy policy. You are responsible for verifying ingredients, allergens, dietary fit, and preparation methods before cooking or consuming anything based on a linked recipe.
The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that expiration notifications will be delivered at any specific time. We do not warrant that nutrition values, shelf-life estimates, or recipe results are accurate, complete, current, safe, or suitable for your needs. Food safety decisions remain your own responsibility.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including any loss resulting from reliance on expiration dates, notifications, shelf-life estimates, nutrition values, or recipes surfaced within the App or linked from it.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time. Upon termination, you may request deletion of your data by contacting us at support@justforleftovers.com.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
